PNB Housing Finance reported a 24% rise in net profit to ₹582 crore for Q2, driven by growth in affordable housing. Net interest income rose 14.4% to ₹765 crore. The company expects margins between 3.6%–3.7% for the rest of FY26.
Bank of India showed improvement in asset quality in the September quarter. MD & CEO Rajneesh Karnatak said that the new one-time settlement scheme will help resolve MSME and retail accounts faster.
Ola Electric launched ‘Hyperservice’, a new platform that lets independent mechanics and garages buy genuine spare parts directly from Ola’s app and website, reducing dependence on intermediaries.
The AICPDF, representing distributors nationwide, said it will stop accepting orders from Tata Consumer over stock dumping issues. Distributors in Maharashtra reportedly have ₹50–₹60 crore worth of unsold goods.
Bata India’s profit fell 73% YoY to ₹13.9 crore in Q2 due to lower sales and higher costs. The company said GST transition issues hurt performance but noted recovery signs post-September.
JK Tyre reduced the impact of US tariffs by expanding exports to Europe and Latin America. The company said only 3% of its revenue comes from the US, and domestic demand has grown after the GST cuts.
Adani Energy Solutions’ Q2 profit dropped 21% to ₹534 crore. However, adjusted profit was up 21% YoY, excluding a one-time tax impact of ₹314 crore.
