Radisson Hotel Group Signs 4 Park Inn & Suites Properties in India

Radisson Hotel Group has strengthened its India expansion strategy by adding four new midscale properties under its Park Inn & Suites by Radisson brand, deepening its presence across emerging tier-2 and tier-3 cities, as per news reports.
Expansion Strategy and Partnership
The group has signed 4 new Park Inn & Suites by Radisson properties in Siliguri, Rajkot, Bhuj and Darbhanga in partnership with NILE Hospitality.
The move aligns with Radisson Hotel Group’s focus on high-potential, underpenetrated markets and its broader push to expand midscale offerings catering to both business and leisure travellers.
Commenting on the expansion, Nikhil Sharma, Managing Director and COO, South Asia, Radisson Hotel Group, said the signings mark “a significant milestone” in the brand’s growth and are aimed at bringing global hospitality standards to fast-growing regional hubs.
Market Focus and City-specific Positioning
Each of the 4 locations has been selected for its distinct demand drivers. Park Inn & Suites by Radisson Rajkot will be positioned in a central micro-market, targeting demand within the branded midscale segment.
The Bhuj property will benefit from proximity to Bharuch, Mundra and Kandla, supporting steady demand from domestic and international travellers, while also serving the city’s growing role as a tourism, social events and transit hub.
Park Inn & Suites Siliguri will feature all-day dining and banquet spaces, supported by consistent business travel demand driven by industrial and trade activity.
In Darbhanga, the hotel will offer business-focused amenities such as meeting spaces, business centres and a restaurant to cater to corporate travellers.
Brand Outlook and Developer Perspective
Radisson executives highlighted that Park Inn & Suites by Radisson is designed as a modern midscale brand with a flexible design model focused on comfort, consistency and value, making it suitable for fast-growing cities.
Davashish Srivastava, Senior Director, Development South Asia, Radisson Hotel Group, said the signings reflect the company’s emphasis on markets with untapped potential for midscale hospitality.
From the developer side, Vikram Singh Chauhan, Founder and CEO of NILE Hospitality, said the partnership supports its goal of delivering high-quality hospitality experiences in rapidly growing cities, adding that the collaboration marks another step in expanding its presence across emerging India.
