Prime Focus Share Price Hit 10% Upper Circuit After Big Block Deals

On Friday, Prime Focus share price hit the 10% upper circuit at ₹158.3 after about 4.75 million shares (1.5% equity) were traded in multiple block deals. This came even as the broader Nifty 50 slipped 0.26%.
The stock has gained nearly 15% this year, compared to a 4.8% rise in the Nifty 50. The stock’s 52-week range stands between ₹85 (low) and ₹181 (high), showing strong momentum in recent sessions.
Prime Focus Q1 FY26 Financial Performance
In Q1 FY26, Prime Focus reported a net profit of ₹61.85 crore, compared to a net loss of ₹119.36 crore in the same quarter last year. Revenue rose 22.7% YoY to ₹976.82 crore from ₹795.98 crore.
Equity issuance plan
In July, the company’s board approved issuing and allotting up to 462.6 million equity shares worth ₹5,552 crore. Proposed non-promoter allottees include Ranbir Kapoor (1.25M shares), Singularity Equity Fund (2.08M shares), Axana Estates LLP (2.08M shares), and Novator Capital Ltd (111.28M shares).
