
Pratap Technocrats has secured a major telecom infrastructure project, strengthening its role in India’s broadband expansion initiatives.

As per PTI reports, the company has entered into an agreement with Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited for the execution of BharatNet Phase III.
The contract, valued at ₹8,025 crore, involves end-to-end responsibilities including network design, deployment, operations and long-term maintenance.
The project will be implemented across Rajasthan, Haryana and Assam, where the company will develop optical fibre infrastructure aimed at improving connectivity.
The mandate also includes ongoing operational management and maintenance over an extended period, ensuring sustained network performance.
This development follows recent project wins by the company in other regions, indicating continued momentum in securing telecom infrastructure assignments.
The initiative is part of the broader BharatNet programme, which aims to strengthen digital connectivity in underserved areas.
The project is expected to enhance broadband availability in rural and semi-urban regions by improving network reach and reliability.
