
Power Finance Corporation Limited (PFC), a Maharatna public sector undertaking, announced its consolidated unaudited financial results for the quarter and half-year ended September 30, 2025.
The company demonstrated steady growth in key financial metrics on a year-on-year basis, though quarterly performance showed sequential moderation.
For the quarter ended September 30, 2025, PFC achieved consolidated total income of ₹28,901 crore, registering growth of 12% YoY but declining 1% QoQ. Revenue from operations stood at ₹28,890 crore, up 12% YoY and 1% QoQ compared to the respective periods.
Profit before tax reached ₹10,057 crore, marking a 7% increase YoY but declining 10% QoQ. Profit after tax stood at ₹7,834 crore, demonstrating an expansion of 9% YoY but declining 13% QoQ. Basic and diluted earnings per share were ₹17.40 for the quarter.
For the half year ended September 30, 2025, consolidated total income reached ₹57,530 crore, up 14% from ₹50,491 crore in H1 FY25. Revenue from operations totalled ₹57,429 crore, reflecting robust 14% growth year on year.
Half year PBT stood at ₹21,256 crore, growing 16% from ₹18,262 crore in the previous year. PAT for H1 FY26 came to ₹16,816 crore, up 17% from ₹14,397 crore in H1 FY25. Earnings per share for the half year were ₹38.21, up 16% YoY.

Interest income for Q2 FY26 was ₹28,069 crore, up 11% YoY. For the half year, interest income reached ₹56,327 crore, growing 13% compared to ₹49,925 crore in H1 FY25.
Gross credit impaired assets ratio stood at 1.45% as of September 30, 2025, with net credit impaired assets ratio at 0.30%. The company maintained total loan assets of ₹11,26,319 crore as of the reporting date.
The Board declared a 2nd interim dividend of ₹3.65 per equity share for FY 2025 to 2026. The record date is set as November 26, 2025, with payment on or before December 6, 2025. The company had earlier paid ₹3.70 as 1st interim dividend.
On November 7, 2025, Power Finance Corporation share price opened at ₹386.10 on NSE, near the previous close of ₹386.10. During the day, it surged to ₹394.70 and dipped to ₹381.25. The stock is trading at ₹383.45 as of 3:08 PM. The stock registered a moderate decline of 0.69%.
