
MakeMyTrip has unveiled Travel Ka Muhurat, a month-long campaign running from October 29 to November 30, 2025, designed to mark the start of India’s year-end travel planning phase.
The company has brought on board a broad ecosystem of partners: airlines, hotels, and financial institutions to deliver deals across flights, stays, holiday packages and related services.
The initiative involves collaborations with domestic and international carriers and hospitality brands. Over 25 airlines and 30 hotel chains have signed up. Banking partners, including Axis Bank, HDFC Bank and HSBC, are offering exclusive offers such as instant discounts and daily “lightning” deals.
MakeMyTrip’s leadership stated the campaign seeks to shift demand from last-minute bookings to earlier planning, which helps both consumers get better value and partners improve revenue management. The company expects double-digit growth in traffic from the initiative.

With Travel Ka Muhurat, MakeMyTrip is attempting to establish a dedicated calendar moment for travel planning and bookings in India. By aligning major travel and finance players under one campaign, it aims to capture early-booking behaviours and convert latent travel demand into actual bookings ahead of the hectic year-end window.
