
Mahindra & Mahindra Financial Services Limited (Mahindra Finance) announced its financial performance for the quarter ended September 30, 2025 (Q2 FY26).
The company reported a 54% year-on-year (YoY) increase in Profit After Tax (PAT), reflecting improved profitability and operational stability.
Mahindra Finance’s loan book grew by 13% YoY, supported by steady demand across its lending portfolio. Disbursements stood at ₹13,514 crore during the quarter, marking a 3% YoY growth. Notably, tractor disbursements surged by 41% YoY, driven by rural demand and improved farm sentiment. As of September 30, 2025, the company’s business assets reached ₹1,27,246 crore, indicating sustained expansion.
The company maintained asset quality within its guided range, with Gross Stage 3 (GS3) assets at 3.9% and combined GS2+GS3 assets at 9.7%. Collection efficiency remained strong at 96%, consistent with the same quarter last year. The credit cost for the quarter was at 2.2%, highlighting prudent risk management and controlled delinquencies. Liquidity levels also remained comfortable, ensuring flexibility for future growth.
On a consolidated basis, total income for Q2 FY26 stood at ₹5,049 crore, up 13% from ₹4,479 crore in Q2 FY25. Profit After Tax rose 45% YoY to ₹566 crore.
For the first half of FY26, Mahindra Finance reported a total income of ₹10,063 crore and a PAT of ₹1,095 crore, reflecting 14% and 23% YoY growth, respectively.
On October 29, 2025, Mahindra Finance share price (NSE: M&MFIN) opened at ₹308.00, up from its previous close of ₹299.90. At 9:42 AM, the share price of Mahindra Finance was trading at ₹309.80, up by 3.30% on the NSE.
