The Reserve Bank of India has cancelled the Certificates of Registration of 35 non‑banking financial companies during December 2025. The action was taken under Section 45‑IA (6) of the Reserve Bank of India Act, 1934.

These cancellations prevent the affected entities from carrying on NBFC activities as defined under the Act. The decision forms part of the regulator’s ongoing supervisory actions aimed at ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

RBI Order on Cancellation of NBFC Registrations
