HFCL has reported new export orders amounting to $72.96 million, roughly ₹656.10 crore, for the supply of optical fibre cables. The orders were booked through its wholly owned overseas subsidiary, according to the company’s filing dated December 6, 2025.
The agreement follows general contract conditions and requires HFCL to supply cables as specified by the customer. The delivery period extends until November 2026.
The filing identifies the buyer as an international customer, without any links to the promoter group. HFCL noted that the order does not qualify as a related-party transaction.
The document states that the order was received in the ordinary course of business and that no special conditions outside standard contract terms apply. The consideration reflects the full value of the supply commitment.
For the quarter ending September 30, 2025, HFCL posted a net profit of ₹67.9 crore, compared with ₹74 crore in the same quarter last year, showing an 8.24% decline.
Revenue stood at ₹1,043 crore, lower than the ₹1,093 crore reported in Q2 FY25, marking a 4.6% fall year-on-year. On a sequential basis, revenue increased from ₹871 crore in the June quarter, a rise of 19.8%.
