Mutual Funds Invest Over ₹12,000 Crore in December IPOs Across 9 Companies

In December 2025, mutual funds invested a total of ₹12,054 crore across 9 initial public offerings (IPOs), according to data from Prime Database.
These investments highlight the active participation of domestic institutional investors in the IPO segment during the month. Major allocations were observed in offerings by ICICI Prudential AMC and Meesho, among others.
Breakup of ₹12,054 Crore Mutual Fund Investment in December IPOs
ICICI Prudential Asset Management Company attracted the highest investment from mutual funds at ₹5,982 crore. This investment gave mutual funds a holding of 2.24 crore shares in the company’s portfolio.
Meesho received the second highest investment of ₹3,707 crore, with mutual funds acquiring 20.57 crore shares.
Following these, other companies also saw considerable inflows:
- Corona Remedies: ₹540 crore, 39 lakh shares
- Wakefit Innovations: ₹514 crore, 2.78 crore shares
- Aequs: ₹470 crore, 3.42 crore shares
- Park Medi World: ₹327 crore, 2.23 crore shares
- KSH International: ₹280 crore, 78.29 lakh shares
- Nephrocare Health Services: ₹146 crore, 31.22 lakh shares
- Vidya Wires: ₹87.03 crore, 1.74 crore shares
These investments reflect a wide sectoral distribution across healthcare, manufacturing, wellness, and e-commerce industries.

Key IPOs Seeing Significant Institutional Interest
ICICI Prudential AMC and Meesho stood out with a combined allocation of ₹9,689 crore from mutual funds, capturing over 80% of the total investment amount for December 2025.
Other IPOs like Wakefit Innovations and Aequs also attracted over ₹400 crore each, suggesting diverse interest beyond traditional sectors.
