The Indian stock market rallied strongly on Monday, November 17, even though global cues were weak. Solid Q2 earnings and expectations of an India–US trade deal lifted investor sentiment.

Extending its winning streak to a sixth session, the BSE Sensex rose 388 points (0.46%) to close at 84,950.95, while the Nifty 50 gained 103 points (0.40%) to end the day at 26,013.45.

Stocks to Watch Today

1. Reliance Industries (RIL)

Reliance Retail has signed an exclusive distribution deal with Germany’s cosnova Beauty to bring the essence cosmetics brand to India.

2. Paytm

Paytm's major investors, SAIF III Mauritius, SAIF Partners, and Elevation Capital, are likely to sell a combined 2% stake through a block deal, as per reports.

3. Tata Power

Tata Power Renewable Energy Ltd (TPREL) has completed NHPC’s 300 MW solar project under an EPC contract, marking another milestone in its clean energy portfolio.

4. Emcure Pharma

Bain Capital’s BC Investments is expected to sell up to 2% of Emcure Pharma’s equity via a block deal at a floor price of ₹1,296.51 per share.

5. HCL Tech

HCL Tech, along with Nvidia, has opened a new innovation lab in Santa Clara, USA. The facility will help companies test and build real-world AI and robotics solutions.

6. JSW Energy

Pritesh Vinay has resigned as Director and stepped down from the Board to pursue opportunities outside the JSW Group.

7. WPIL

WPIL announced that its South African arm has bagged a ₹426 crore contract from the Matla a Metsi Joint Venture. The project will take four years to complete.

8. KEC International

KEC International has secured new orders worth ₹1,016 crore across various sectors. Its civil division won multiple contracts in the Buildings & Factories segment.

9. KPI Green Energy & SJVN

KPI Green has signed contracts with SJVN Ltd for a ₹696.50 crore project to develop a 200 MW solar power plant at the GIPCL Renewable Energy Park in Khavda, Gujarat.

10. AstraZeneca Pharma & Sun Pharma

AstraZeneca has entered a second brand partnership with Sun Pharma to market Sodium Zirconium Cyclosilicate (SZC) in India.
