The domestic indices were in green hitting an all-time high, Sensex above 75,000 and Nifty-50 above 22,700 with notable gains observed in the information technology, realty, and metals sectors. At 11:00 am, the BSE Sensex gained 0.44%, reaching a level of 75,075. The Nifty 50 index advanced 0.38% to the 22,754 level. On the Sensex, Tata Steel, Infosys and ICICI Bank were among the top gainers, whereas Kotak Mahindra Bank, Titan Company and Bharti Airtel were among the market draggers.

Gland Pharma Ltd:

Experiencing a remarkable surge in trading volume of 92 times, Gland Pharma Ltd shares plunged 3.88%, to Rs 1,789.55 on the BSE from its previous closing of Rs 1,861.70. The company has grown over the years from a contract manufacturer of small-volume liquid parenteral products, to become one of the largest and fastest-growing injectable-focused companies, with a global footprint across 60 countries, including the United States, Europe, Canada, Australia, India and other markets.

Axis Bank:

Axis Bank shares witnessed a substantial 45-fold surge in trading volume, the shares surged 1.75%, reaching an intraday high of Rs 1,094 on the BSE. The company is the third largest private sector bank in India. The bank offers the entire spectrum of financial services to customer segments covering large and mid-corporates, MSME, agriculture and retail businesses.

Inox Wind Ltd:

Recording a significant 21-fold surge in trading volume, the Inox Wind Ltd shares witnessed a notable climb of around 7% today. The company is engaged in the business of manufacturing wind turbine generators (WTGs) and is a wind energy solutions provider servicing IPPs, utilities, PSUs, corporates and retail investors. Inox Wind Ltd is a fully integrated player in the wind energy market and provides end-to-end turnkey solutions.

Edelweiss Financial Services Ltd:

Experiencing an impressive 13-fold surge in trading volume, the Edelweiss Financial Services Ltd shares surged over 6% today. The company is in the business of providing investment banking services and holding company activities comprising development, managerial and financial support. EFSL has a client base of 1.2 million that is serviced through a network of 476 offices, with close to 11,000 employees.
