Upper Circuit Stocks Today – 05 April, 2024

On Friday, the benchmark indices were trading in the red with the Sensex down around 121 points or 0.17% at 74,100, while the Nifty-50 was down around 42 points or 0.18% at 22,467. About 1,654 shares have advanced; 1,482 declined and 112 are unchanged on the BSE.

Top gainers and losers on the BSE Sensex index:

The top Sensex gainers were Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd, HDFC Bank, and Nestle India Ltd while the top Sensex losers were Axis Bank, Tata Steel Ltd, and Larsen & Toubro Ltd.

The indices in the broader markets were trading mixed with the BSE Mid-cap index up 0.15% and the BSE Small-Cap Index up 0.05%, respectively. The top mid-cap gainers were Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency Ltd and Alkem Laboratories Ltd, while the top small-cap gainers were Indraprastha Medical Corporation Ltd and KMC Speciality Hospitals (India) Ltd.

The BSE Realty Index was the top gaining among the sectorial indices and the BSE Oil & Gas Energy was the top losing sector. The BSE Realty Index gained by 0.90%, up by Macrotech Developers Ltd and DLF Ltd while the BSE Oil & Gas Index is down by 1.27% dragged by Indian Oil Corporation Ltd and Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd.

In the pre-opening session, these three stocks were trending: Camlin Fine Sciences Ltd, Sheela Foam Ltd, and Indoco Remedies Ltd.
