Upper Circuit Stocks Today – 29 April, 2024

On Monday, the benchmark indices were trading in the green with the Sensex up around 370 points or 0.50% at 74,090, while the Nifty-50 was up around 65 points or 0.30% at 22,500. About 1,992 shares have advanced; 1,205 declined and 128 are unchanged on the BSE.

Top gainers and losers on the BSE Sensex index:

The top Sensex gainers were Tech Mahindra Ltd, IndusInd Bank and Tata Steel Ltd while the top Sensex losers were ITC Ltd, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd and HCL Technologies Ltd.

The indices in the broader markets were trading in the green with the BSE Mid-cap index up 0.27% and the BSE Small-Cap Index up 0.15%, respectively. The top mid-cap gainers were Indian Renewable Energy Development Ltd and Supreme Industries Ltd. In contrast, Medicamen Biotech Ltd and Welspun Specialty Solutions Ltd were the top small-cap gainers.

The BSE Energy Index was the top gaining among the sectorial indices and the BSE Realty Index was the top losing sector. The BSE Energy Index gained by 0.65%, up by Aegis Logistics Ltd and Hindustan Petroleum Ltd while the BSE Realty Index is down by 1.1% dragged by DLF Ltd and The Phoenix Mills Ltd.

In the pre-opening session, these three stocks were trending: Tejas Networks Ltd, Yes Bank and Shakti Pumps (India) Ltd.
