Upper Circuit Stocks Today – 19 April, 2024

On Friday, the benchmark indices were trading in the red with the Sensex down around 400 points or 0.55% at 72,095, while the Nifty-50 was down around 130 points or 0.59% at 21,865. About 1,082 shares have advanced; 2,288 declined and 156 are unchanged on the BSE.

Top gainers and losers on the BSE Sensex index:

The top Sensex gainers were Hindustan Unilever Ltd, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd and ITC Ltd while the top Sensex losers were Tata Motors Ltd, Infosys Ltd and Axis Bank.

The indices in the broader markets were trading in the red with the BSE Mid-cap index down 1.06% and the BSE Small-Cap Index down 0.77%, respectively. The top mid-cap gainers were Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency Ltd and Vodafone Idea Ltd, while the top small-cap gainers were Moschip Technologies Ltd and Solara Active Pharma Sciences Ltd.

The BSE Fast Moving Consumer Goods Index was the top gaining among the sectorial indices and the BSE Realty Index was the top losing sector. The BSE Fast Moving Consumer Goods Index gained by 0.07%, up by Kaveri Seed Company Ltd and Manorama Industries Ltd while the BSE Realty Index plunged by 1.65% down by Sobha Ltd and DLF Ltd.

In the pre-opening session, these three stocks were trending: Ujjivan Financial Services Ltd, Himadri Speciality Chemical Ltd and Force Motors Ltd.
