On March 14, 2024, Nifty 50 rose 0.68% to 22,146, while Sensex grew 0.46% to 73,097. Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) sold securities worth ₹1,356 crore, and Domestic Institutional Investors (DIIs) bought securities worth ₹139 crore.
On the sectoral front, Nifty Oil & Gas, Nifty Metal, Nifty IT and Nifty Media witnessed an increase, while Nifty Private Bank, Nifty Bank, and Nifty Financial Services experienced a decline. Adani Total Gas, Adani Energy Solutions, Adani Green Energy and Adani Enterprises were the top gainers. On the other hand, Axis Bank, Bajaj Holdings, IndusInd Bank and Bajaj Finance were the top losers.
