Share Market Pre Open Updates – July 12, 2024

On July 11, 2024, the Nifty 50 and Sensex ended flat, closing at 24,315 and 79,897, respectively.

Top Gainers and Losers

On the sectoral front, Nifty Oil and Gas, Nifty Media, Nifty Consumer Durables and Nifty FMCG ended in the green. Meanwhile, Nifty Realty, Nifty Healthcare Index, Nifty Pharma and Nifty Mid-small Healthcare were declining. The top gainers were REC Ltd, Zomato, ONGC and Coal India, which showed positive movement. On the other hand, Naukri, Vedanta Limited, Tata Consumers and Bajaj Finance were the top losers of the day.

Sun TV Network and IRCTC were in the news on July 11, 2024.

• Sun TV’s share price touched a 52-week high yesterday at ₹808.45. According to the news, 1% of Sun TV’s equity was sold in a large deal worth ₹280 crore on July 11.
• IRCTC has collaborated with Delhi Metro Rail for the “One India-One Ticket” initiative. In this collaboration, QR code-based tickets of Delhi Metro Rail can be booked through the IRCTC website or mobile app. Post this news, the share price of IRCTC saw an increase of 2%.
