On April 8, 2024, Adani Total Gas Limited (ATGL) informed the exchanges that Adani TotalEnergies E-Mobility Limited (ATEL), a wholly-owned subsidiary of the company and MG Motor India signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen the EV charging infrastructure in India.

Details of the MOU

Adani Total Gas Limited announced the joint collaboration of Adani TotalEnergies E-Mobility Limited and MG Motor India. The joint collaboration to develop charging solutions for electric

vehicles (EV) and value-added services to MG’s EV customers nationwide. This will underpin the country’s rapidly evolving EV ecosystem by helping build a robust and efficient charging infrastructure.

Regarding MoU, Adani TotalEnergies E-Mobility Limited will set up CC2 60 kW DC chargers at upcoming MG dealerships to strengthen the charging network and improve customer accessibility. The partnership will also offer a thorough solution, which includes supply,

installation, commissioning, operations, and maintenance of charging infrastructure. Additionally,

a digital platform will be launched to promote a seamless customer experience, which includes user authentication, charging, and billing settlement through a dedicated mobile application.

Under this strategic partnership, Adani TotalEnergies E-Mobility Limited and MG Motor shall explore the potential of integrating public charging stations across platforms by leveraging advanced application programming interfaces (APIs) to improve network visibility and accessibility.

Speaking of the collaboration, the ED and CEO of Adani Total Gas, Suresh P Mangalani, said, “The world is embracing more sustainable and clean energy sources, and electric vehicles are at the forefront of this transition. Adani TotalEnergies E-Mobility Limited’s and MG Motor India’s partnership to develop charging infrastructure marks a significant milestone and will play a crucial role in accelerating India’s energy transition. This effort will contribute towards reducing carbon emissions and promoting a cleaner and greener environment.”

On April 8, 2024, Adani Total Gas share price opened at ₹986.95, touching the day’s low at ₹973.55, as of 12:23 PM on the NSE.
