Live Trading Session on 01-Feb-26 on account of the Union Budget

This is to inform you that the Exchanges are conducting a special live trading session on Sunday, 01-Feb-26, on account of the presentation of the Union Budget.

Please note the following pointers regarding the special live trading session:

  1. BTST trade will not be allowed in the special trading session. This means stock bought on Friday, 30-Jan-26, will not be allowed to sell in the special trading session on 01-Feb-26.
  2. All orders placed on Friday, 30-Jan-26, and Sunday, 01-Feb-26 in the Equity and Derivative Segment will be settled on Monday, 02-Feb-26. 
  3. The funds from shares sold on Friday, 30-Jan-26, and Sunday, 01-Feb-26, will be available for withdrawal on Monday, 02-Feb-26.
  4. Derivatives credits and intra-day profit from the equity segment from 30-Jan-26 will not be included in the available margin on 01-Feb-26. 
  5. No fund payout will be processed on 01-Feb-26. But will happen Monday
  6. All funds withdrawal requests placed from Saturday, 31-Jan-26, the morning till Monday, 02-Feb-26, by 7 am will be processed and credited on Monday, 02-Feb-26, by 11 am, subject to funds available in your ledger. 
  7. BOD security auto-release based on ledger credit will be processed on Monday i.e., 02-Feb-26.
  8. For AMO and GTT trade, this will be considered a normal trading day – All orders post Market hours on Friday and Saturday all AMO will be processed on Sunday
  9. For all risk-related calculations, this will be treated as a normal trading day.
  10. MTF Shortage Square-off and Ageing based Square-off will be done on 01-Feb-26. All other square-off actions will be taken as per Risk Policy (Normal Trading Day).
  11. MCX & NCDEX will have only first trading session on 01-Feb-26.
  12. Intraday timer-based positions will be squared off at 4:45 pm on 01-Feb-26 for the MCX Segment. Intraday Timer-based Square off for Equity and Derivatives Segment will be at standard time as per Risk Policy (Normal Trading Day).
