Upper Circuit Stocks Today – Stocks Locked in Upper Circuit on 18 September, 2023

On Monday, both the Sensex and Nifty commenced the day on a negative note, showing declines of 0.22% and 0.13%, respectively. About 1,911 shares have advanced and 1,490 declined furthermore 218 are unchanged on the BSE.  

Top gainers and losers on the BSE Sensex Index are as follows:

The top Sensex gainers were Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd, Titan Company Ltd and NTPC Ltd, whereas the top Sensex losers were Infosys Ltd, Wipro Ltd and HDFC Bank Ltd.  

The BSE Auto Index was the top gaining among the sectorial indices and the BSE Information Technology Index was the top losing sector. The BSE Auto Index soared 1.3%, led by Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd and Bajaj Auto Ltd while the BSE Information Technology Index dipped by 0.65% dragged down by Birlasoft Ltd and Cyient Ltd.   

The indices in the broader markets were trading on a mixed note, with the BSE Mid-cap index plunging by 0.05% and the BSE Small-cap index soaring by 0.12%, respectively. The top mid-cap gainers were Indian Overseas Bank Ltd and UCO Bank Ltd, while the top small-cap gainers were KIOCL Ltd and Bigbloc Construction Ltd.
