The top Sensex gainers were IndusInd Bank, State Bank of India and Kotak Mahindra Bank whereas the top Sensex losers were Nestle India Ltd, Tata Steel Ltd and Tech Mahindra Ltd.
The indices in the broader markets were trading higher, with the BSE Mid-cap index up 1.15% and the BSE Small-cap index up 0.90%, respectively. The top mid-cap gainers were REC Ltd and Power Finance Corporation of India Ltd while the top small-cap gainers were Apollo Micro-Systems Ltd and SEPC Ltd
All the sectoral indices were trading in green with The BSE Oil & Gas Ltd Index and BSE Telecommunication Index being the top gainers. The BSE Oil & Gas Index gained by 1.45%, up by Gail India Ltd and Indian Oil Corporation of India Ltd and the BSE Telecommunication Index is up by 1.44% led by Indus Tower Ltd and Vodafone Idea Ltd.
