The Sensex dropped by 236.18 points, or 0.29%, closing at 81,289.96. It traded between 81,680.97 and 81,211.64 during the day. Similarly, the Nifty50 closed at 24,548.70, down by 93.10 points, or 0.38%, from its previous close. The index fluctuated between 24,675.25 and 24,527.95.

Adani Enterprises share price closed today at ₹2,504.00, marking a rise of 1.90%. Adani Group stocks, including Adani Green Energy, Adani Power, and Adani Ports, surged by up to 8% on Thursday, December 12. The biggest gains were seen in Adani Green and Adani Power shares, which both jumped more than 8%. Adani Energy Solutions rose by 4.5%, Adani Total Gas increased by 5.21%, and shares of Adani Enterprises, Adani Ports, and Adani Wilmar all grew by over 2.4% each.

This platform aims to improve operational efficiency and help businesses stay competitive by integrating GenAI into key processes and modernising infrastructure for the future.
Adani Ports share price closed today at ₹1,244.15, marking a rise of 0.84%. The company announced that it had cancelled its request for a $553 million loan from the U.S. Development Finance Corporation (DFC) for the Colombo West International Terminal (CWIT) project in Sri Lanka. Instead, the company has decided to finance the project using its own funds, according to a statement to the exchanges.
