Equity benchmarks ended sharply higher on Wednesday, extending their recent gains as investors remained upbeat amid firm global cues and continued buying across key sectors.

The BSE Sensex rallied 1,200.18 points or 1.48% to close at 82,530.74, while the NSE Nifty 50 climbed 395.20 points or 1.60% to settle at 25,062.10.

1.Hero MotoCorp 

Hero MotoCorp share pricerose 6.17% to ₹4,318 after the company posted a 6% year-on-year rise in Q4 net profit to ₹1,081 crore, backed by stronger margins and a better product mix.

2.JSW Steel 

JSW Steel share pricegained 4.82% to ₹1,037 as investors remained optimistic ahead of the company’s Q4 results announcement.

3.Tata Motors 

Tata Motors share priceincreased by 4.3% to ₹729, even though Q4 net profit dropped 51% year-on-year to ₹8,470 crore, as the earnings still beat market expectations.

4.Trent 

Trent share pricemoved up 3.8% to ₹5,565.50, despite a 54.82% fall in Q4 net profit to ₹318.15 crore, showing investor faith in its long-term growth.

5.Shriram Finance 

Shriram Finance share priceclimbed 3.38% to ₹674 following a 10.71% increase in Q4 net profit to ₹2,143.77 crore, supported by a strong rise in total income
