The Sensex fell 310.88 points, or 0.49%, to 62,917.63. The Nifty 50 index lost 67.80 points (0.36 percent) to 18,688.10. The Sensex gained 0.96% in three days, while the Nifty gained 1.04%. The overall market beat local indices. The S&P BSE Mid-Cap index advanced by 0.30%, while the S&P BSE Small-Cap index advanced by 0.12%.
GR Infraprojects: On June 15, the stock climbed about 4% intraday after the company was named the lowest bidder for a National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) project. The Rs 1,085.47-crore project is for the hybrid annuity four-laning of NH 530B from Kasganj bypass to Chandan Nagar section in Uttar Pradesh.
Solara Active Pharma: The stock rose more than 9.80% in early trade on June 15 due to high trading volumes. On the NSE, the stock was trading at Rs 385.30, up 7.5 percent from the previous close.
PNC Infratech: The shares of rose 4.11% to Rs 331.65 in the afternoon of June 15th, following rumours that an affiliate of private equity major KKR is in talks with the Agra-based company to acquire 12 road projects for approximately Rs 9,000 crore.
Aurionpro Solutions: On June 15, the shares of were engaged in a 5% upper circuit at Rs 1,001.20, the scrip’s highest level in 52 weeks, a day after ace investor Sumeet Nagar’s Malabar India Fund bought a 1.15 holding in the IT firm. On June 14, Malabar India Fund purchased 2.63 lakh shares, or 1.15%, at an average price of Rs 880.23 per share in open market transactions.
Paras Defence and Space Technologies: CRISIL Ratings has upgraded its ratings on the company’s bank facilities to ‘CRISIL A-/Stable/CRISIL A2+’ from ‘CRISIL BBB+/Positive/CRISIL A2’. In the last five trading days, the stock has risen 2.61%.
