
Central Depository Services (India) Limited released its audited standalone and consolidated results for the quarter ended December 31,2025, highlighting growth in income, profit and market reach.
Consolidated total income for Q3 FY26 reached ₹334 crore, up 12% from ₹298 crore in the same quarter last year. Net profit rose to ₹133 crore compared with ₹130 crore a year earlier. Standalone figures showed total income of ₹279 crore and net profit of ₹120 crore.
For the nine‑month period, consolidated income was ₹970 crore and profit ₹375 crore, while standalone income stood at ₹881 crore with profit ₹399 crore.
CDSL’s demat account base crossed 17.27 crore, an increase of over 2 crore since March 31,2025. During the quarter, 76 lakh new accounts were opened. The firm holds about 80% market share in demat accounts and assets under custody of ₹84.8 lakh crore, up from ₹70.5 lakh crore at FY25 end.
The network now serves 46,271 issuers and 584 depository participants through 20,087 service centres, covering 98% of pin codes nationwide.
Employee training averaged 20 hours per staff member in FY26, focusing on technical, leadership and compliance topics. CDSL launched its first Reimagine Ideathon, attracting over 1,000 registrations from 100 institutions across 21 states and two union territories.
The Investor Protection Fund conducted more than 1,300 investor awareness programmes. Internationally, CDSL received “Market Infrastructure of the Year” at the 8th Regulation Asia Awards 2025 and “CSD of the Year” at the Asset Servicing Times Industry Excellence Awards 2025.
