Ajmera Realty Stock Split: Last Day To Buy Shares Before Record Date

Ajmera Realty & Infra India share price is in focus Today, January 13, as this is the last trading day for investors to buy the stock and qualify for the company’s stock split.
This will be Ajmera Realty’s first-ever stock split, aimed at improving affordability and liquidity for retail investors.
Stock Split Ratio And Key Dates
Ajmera Realty’s board approved the stock split in November, announcing a 1:5 split.
- One equity share with a face value of ₹10 will be split into five shares of ₹2 each
- Record Date: January 14, 2026
- Ex-Split Date: January 14, 2026
Only shareholders holding the stock as of the record date will be eligible for the split.
Why January 13 Is The Last Day To Buy
India follows a T+1 settlement cycle, meaning shares must be bought at least 1 trading day before the record date to be eligible.
As a result:
- Buying on January 13 makes investors eligible
- Buying on January 14 will not qualify for the stock split
What A Stock Split Means For Investors
A stock split increases the number of outstanding shares by lowering the face value of each share. While the number of shares held increases, the overall investment value remains unchanged, as the stock price adjusts proportionately.
Stock splits usually help improve liquidity and make shares more affordable for smaller investors.
Ajmera Realty Q2 FY26 Financial Performance
Ajmera Realty reported a 14.1% drop in profit to ₹30.4 crore in Q2 FY26, compared to ₹35.4 crore in the previous quarter.
- Revenue: Up 9.6% year-on-year to ₹219 crore
- EBITDA: Down 4% year-on-year to ₹58 crore
- EBITDA Margin: Reduced to 26.5%
Conclusion
Ajmera Realty’s 1:5 stock split is aimed at improving share affordability and liquidity. With January 13 being the last day to buy, eligible investors must act before the record date to benefit from the split.
