JSW Steel reported a 14% increase in crude steel production during April–June FY26, reaching 7.26 million tonnes overall. Its Indian operations grew 15% compared to last year. However, output dropped 5% sequentially because of maintenance shutdowns at some blast furnaces.
Tata Motors shared that its global wholesales fell 9% year-on-year in Q1 FY26, totalling 2,99,664 units. Both commercial vehicle sales (down 6%) and passenger vehicle sales, including EVs, saw declines.
Union Bank of India reported a 5% rise in total business, reaching ₹22.1 lakh crore in Q1 FY26. Deposits increased 3.63%, while gross advances grew 6.8% to ₹9.74 lakh crore.
Tata Steel kept crude steel production steady at 5.26 million tonnes. Deliveries fell 3.8% due to shutdowns at the Jamshedpur and Neelachal plants. Furnace repairs at Jamshedpur are expected to finish by July end.
Bajel Projects plans to expand its Ranjangaon facility in Maharashtra. The company will boost galvanisation capacity from 40,500 MT to 1,10,000 MT over two years. The ₹170 crore project will be funded via internal cash and loans.
Computer Age Management Services (CAMS) launched CAMSPay, a payment gateway designed to help businesses with real-time transactions and compliance with RBI’s data security norms.
