Marico Q4FY25 Earnings Highlights

During the quarter, the sector maintained a steady demand trajectory, underpinned by strengthening trends in rural markets and stable consumer sentiment in urban areas. Looking ahead, we anticipate a gradual uptick in performance, supported by moderating inflation, a favourable monsoon, and continued policy support.

Against this backdrop, underlying volume growth in our India business improved sequentially, reaching a multi-quarter high. This momentum was driven by sustained strength in our core franchises and the continued expansion of new business verticals.

Parachute experienced a slight decline in volumes, largely due to the challenging environment of hyperinflationary input costs and price volatility. Nevertheless, the brand demonstrated strong resilience, with its inherent pricing inelasticity and robust brand equity enabling it to withstand significant price increases and changes in millage—most notably a key upward revision in June 2025—with minimal volume impact. Adjusting for pack size changes, Parachute remained on a growth trajectory, reflected in an increase in total units sold during the quarter.
