GNG Electronics Ltd. made a powerful debut on the Indian stock exchanges today, Wednesday, July 30, 2025, listing at a sharp premium to its IPO price. The stock was listed at ₹355 on the NSE, marking a 49.79% gain over its issue price of ₹237 per share. On the BSE, it opened at ₹350, up 47.68%.
The shares were admitted for trading at 10:00 AM under the 'B' Group of Securities, following their inclusion in the Special Pre-open Session (SPOS). The strong listing was widely anticipated, given the robust investor demand and high subscription levels during the IPO.
GNG Electronics launched its Initial Public Offering (IPO) on July 23, 2025, with the bidding window closing on July 25, 2025. The IPO allotment was finalized on July 28, ahead of the company’s stock market debut on July 30, 2025, when its shares were listed on both the NSE and BSE.
The issue was priced at a fixed band of ₹237 per share, and the total issue size amounted to ₹460.43 crore. This included a fresh issue of shares worth ₹400 crore and an offer for sale (OFS) component of ₹60.44 crore, allowing existing shareholders to partially exit their holdings.
The IPO of GNG Electronics, a laptop refurbishing and electronics services company, received an overwhelming response from all categories of investors. The issue was subscribed 147.93 times overall, underscoring broad market confidence.
Among retail investors, the subscription stood at 46.84 times, while Qualified Institutional Buyers (QIBs) and Non-Institutional Investors (NIIs) showed even stronger interest, subscribing 266.21 times and 227.67 times, respectively.
This exceptional demand built up strong anticipation for a robust listing and the stock’s debut at nearly a 50% premium clearly reflected that investor sentiment.
Investors who were allotted shares in the GNG Electronics IPO will see them reflected in their demat accounts ahead of the listing. Once credited, these shares become available for trading on both NSE and BSE during market hours.
A demat account is essential for holding and transacting in listed securities electronically, allowing investors to sell or hold their shares based on market movements post-listing.
