A pivotal moment in India’s drone industry came in 2021 when the government restricted drone imports (with specific exceptions), kickstarting a push for domestic innovation. The Production Linked Incentive (PLI) scheme for drones and components announced by the Ministry of Civil Aviation offered further momentum with ₹120 crore in incentives spread across FY22 to FY24.

Since then, drone-linked industries have attracted investor interest, driven by applications in defence, logistics, and surveillance. With autonomous drones and AI-driven navigation systems on the rise, India’s listed drone-related companies are gaining renewed attention.

In this article, we rank drone-linked stocks in India as of August 2025, based on key financial indicators: 5Y CAGR, net profit margin, and debt-to-equity ratio.
