RailTel Corporation of India Ltd has received a significant work order from the General Administration Department (GAD) of Chhattisgarh. The total contract value amounts to ₹17,47,74,625 (inclusive of taxes).
The scope of work includes network connectivity, operation and maintenance (O&M), hardware procurement and commissioning, as well as the implementation of a revamped integrated communication infrastructure. This includes WLAN, LAN, and EPABX systems.
The contract is domestic in nature and was awarded by a state government entity. The project will be executed over a period ending on January 14, 2031, giving RailTel ample time to carry out installation, integration, and long-term maintenance of the ICT infrastructure.
This project aims to enhance the communication capabilities of the Chhattisgarh government departments by modernising their internal network infrastructure. It aligns with RailTel’s expertise in delivering ICT solutions to public institutions and reaffirms its standing as a key government technology partner.
On July 8, the company informed the exchanges that it has received a Letter of Intent (LOI) from the Central Warehousing Corporation (CWC) for a substantial project valued at ₹96,99,80,118 (inclusive of tax). The order, awarded through a Government e-Marketplace (GeM) bid process, includes supply, installation, testing, commissioning, and comprehensive operation and maintenance of Smart Warehousing Elements at 226 foodgrain warehouses across India.
This is a domestic contract, and the execution timeline spans until July 6, 2030.
On July 10, 2025, RailTel Corporation share price opened at ₹412.25, up from its previous close of ₹410.20. At 9:43 AM, the share price of RailTel was trading at ₹413.90, up by 0.90% on the NSE.
