PNB MetLife India Insurance has introduced a new fund called the PNB MetLife Value Fund under its Unit-Linked Insurance Plans (ULIPs). The subscription window for this fund opened on July 15 and will close on July 28, 2025.
During the offer period, units are available at an initial Net Asset Value (NAV) of ₹10. After July 28, 2025, new units will be priced based on market-linked NAVs. The fund is open to individual investors subscribing through eligible ULIP plans.
The fund follows a value investing strategy. It will invest in companies with relatively lower valuations across sectors such as energy, financial services, commodities, utilities, automobiles, construction materials, and chemicals.
The Value Fund is available under existing PNB MetLife ULIPs, including:
– Smart Goal Ensuring Multiplier
– Goal Ensuring Multiplier
– Smart Platinum Plus
– Term with Unit Linked Insurance Plan
– Mera Wealth Plan
The fund will be managed by PNB MetLife’s investment team. It is positioned as an actively managed option with portfolio decisions based on internal research and sector evaluation. It follows the standard risk management and governance framework applicable to all PNB MetLife ULIP funds.
PNB MetLife is a joint venture between MetLife, Inc. and Punjab National Bank. The insurer operates through 155 branches and a network of over 36,000 financial advisors across India. Its products cover life protection, retirement, savings, and education needs.

The Value Fund is a time-bound offering under the ULIP category. Subscriptions are open till July 28, 2025, after which units can be purchased at prevailing NAVs through eligible plans. The fund adds to the company’s equity-linked investment options under its insurance product umbrella.
