Bandhan Life Insurance Launches iInvest Ultima ULIP with New Mid Cap NFL

Bandhan Life Insurance has introduced a new market-linked insurance plan alongside a Mid Cap new fund launch, expanding its investment offerings for long-term investors.
Product Features and Investor Eligibility
The iInvest Ultima is a Unit Linked Insurance Plan designed for long-term wealth creation combined with life cover. The plan provides access to the insurer’s 5-star and 4-star rated funds, which have outperformed industry benchmarks as per Morningstar ratings.
Key features include an Accidental Death Benefit Rider, loyalty rewards, and a return of 100% of mortality charges from the 15th policy year.
The plan is targeted at individuals aged 30 years to 50 years who are comfortable with market-linked returns and an annual investment of ₹2 lakh or more. It offers higher premium allocation for long-term investors, with benefits of up to 2.5X premium allocation over the policy tenure.
Women policyholders receive an additional 0.5% premium allocation from day 1 for the first 5 policy years without any increase in premium outgo.
Mid Cap Fund Details and Strategy
Alongside the ULIP, the company has launched the Bandhan Life Mid Cap Fund under a new fund launch.
The fund opens at a NAV of ₹10 and will remain available for subscription until February 18, 2026. It is benchmarked against the Nifty Midcap 150 Index and focuses on mid-sized Indian companies.
The fund provides exposure to sectors including financial services, industrials, healthcare and capital goods.
According to the company, the investment approach centres on businesses with strong balance sheets, scalable models and reasonable return on equity, at a time when mid-cap companies are witnessing improved profitability and lower debt levels.
