
Mutual fund SIP inflows recorded a marginal increase of 1% on a monthly basis, rising to ₹29,529 crore in October 2025 from ₹29,361 crore in September.
The SIP Assets Under Management (AUM) reached ₹16,25,304.94 crore, representing 20.3% of the total mutual fund industry’s assets. SIP contributions for October stood at ₹29,529.37 crore. The number of active SIP accounts increased to 9.45 crore from 9.25 crore in September.
Mutual fund folios reached 2,56,003,815 in October 2025, with 40,80,653 new folios added during the month. In comparison, September 2025 folios stood at 2,51,923,162. Retail mutual fund folios (Equity, Hybrid, and Solution-Oriented Schemes) rose to 1,99,807,323 in October from 1,98,054,156 in September. Retail AUM for these segments stood at ₹46,48,599 crore.

Net AUM as of October 2025 was ₹2,010.44 crore across 10,212 folios, with net inflows of ₹2,004.56 crore during the month.
Venkat N Chalasani, Chief Executive of AMFI, remarked: "The mutual fund industry continues to demonstrate resilience and sustained growth, with assets under management reaching unprecedented levels. The steady inflows across asset classes highlight the trust and confidence investors place in our industry."
He added, "AUM reached an all-time high of ₹79.9 lakh crore in October 2025, driven by strong retail participation and record SIP inflows of ₹29,529 crore from over 9.45 crore contributing accounts. Equity inflows remained robust at ₹24,690 crore, marking the 56th consecutive month of positive flows."
