
Edelweiss Mutual Fund has launched the Edelweiss Financial Services Fund, a sectoral equity scheme focused on companies in the financial services segment. The new fund offer (NFO) opens on January 27, 2026, and closes on February 10, 2026, with units scheduled for allotment on February 24, 2026.
The scheme is open-ended and offered under Direct and Regular plans, with Growth and IDCW options.
The scheme’s stated objective is to generate long-term capital appreciation by investing mainly in equity and equity-related securities of companies engaged in financial services.
The fund is classified under the sectoral or thematic equity category and is rated “Very High Risk” on the riskometer, reflecting concentration in a single sector.
The minimum subscription amount is ₹100. There is no entry load on investments. An exit load of 1% applies if units are redeemed within 90 days from the date of allotment, calculated on the sell value. No exit load is applicable after the 90-day period.
The fund will be managed by Amit Vora, Ashwani Agarwalla and Trideep Bhattacharya. KFin Technologies Pvt. Ltd. has been appointed as the registrar and transfer agent, responsible for investor servicing and transaction processing.
Edelweiss Mutual Fund reported assets under management of ₹189,537.03 crore as of December 31, 2025. The Edelweiss Financial Services Fund is part of its equity fund lineup and is positioned as a sector-focused offering within the portfolio.
