Mphasis Ltd has announced a partnership with Sixfold, a US-based artificial intelligence company focused on underwriting solutions for the insurance sector. The announcement was made on June 16, 2025.
As per the filings, the agreement positions Mphasis as an implementation partner for Sixfold’s AI platform. The platform will be integrated into insurers' systems to automate parts of the underwriting process. This includes helping insurers manage submission intake and access data-based risk insights.
Sixfold’s AI platform is already being used by several large insurance companies. With Mphasis involved, the plan is to expand the platform’s deployment across additional insurers. The partnership is to support operational tasks such as automation, data handling, and streamlining workflows in underwriting departments.
Mphasis stated that the partnership would combine its technology services with Sixfold’s underwriting tools to support insurers globally.
Alex Schmelkin, Founder & CEO of Sixfold, said: “Sixfold was built to solve real problems for underwriters—and to make the entire process better for brokers and customers.”
According to the statement, Mphasis will assist in getting the technology operational across real-world insurance environments.

On June 17, 2025, at 9:30 AM, Mphasis share price was trading at ₹2,704.10, a 0.12% decrease. The stock has gained 3.89% in the last week and 5.81% since the beginning of June. For the current quarter, the stock is up 8.29%. However, on a year-to-date basis, it has declined by 4.91%. The company's market capitalisation was ₹51,458.42 crore as of the same date.
The partnership between Mphasis and Sixfold will focus on integrating AI tools within the insurance underwriting space, with Mphasis taking the lead on implementation. This aims to extend Sixfold’s AI system to more insurers while reducing manual work in underwriting processes.
