Voltas Limited announced the consolidated financial results for the quarter ended 30th June 2025.
For the quarter ended 30th June 2025, Voltas Limited faced a unique set of weather-related challenges. The summer season began late, temperatures stayed milder than usual, and the early arrival of monsoon cut the season short. These factors significantly reduced consumer demand for cooling products, particularly air conditioners, which form a large part of the company’s offerings.
The weaker performance this quarter was also influenced by the exceptionally high base in Q1 FY2024-25, when an extended and harsh summer drove record sales. The contrast between last year’s peak demand and this year’s subdued conditions created a notable year-on-year decline in both revenue and profitability.
Voltas reported a consolidated total income of ₹4,021 crore in Q1 FY2025-26, down from ₹5,001 crore in the same quarter last year. Profit Before Tax stood at ₹203 crore compared to ₹452 crore a year ago. Net Profit after tax was ₹141 crore, nearly 58% lower than the ₹335 crore recorded in the corresponding period of the previous year. This decline reflects the double impact of lower sales volumes and the high comparative base.
Despite these headwinds, Voltas maintained its leadership position in the cooling products category and ensured steady performance in its other business segments. The company’s diversified portfolio and operational resilience helped mitigate the impact of reduced demand in its core air conditioning segment.
Commenting on the performance, Mr. Pradeep Bakshi, MD & CEO, Voltas Limited, said, “The first quarter of FY26 presented certain challenges, particularly due to unseasonal weather and shifting consumer sentiment. While these factors impacted our seasonal product categories, our core strengths, market leadership, operational resilience, and strategic agility, remain intact. We view this as a one-off situation and are confident that our ongoing investments in innovation, channel expansion, and customer-centricity will enable us to overcome short-term headwinds and continue delivering sustainable growth in the quarters ahead.”
On August 11, 2025, Voltas share price (NSE: VOLTAS) opened at ₹1,201.00, down from its previous close of ₹1,304.90. At 11:25 AM, the share price of Voltas was trading at ₹1,236.90, down by 5.21% on the NSE.

Voltas’ Q1 FY2025-26 performance was shaped largely by uncontrollable seasonal factors and the high base effect from last year. While revenue and profits saw a year-on-year decline, the company’s ability to retain market leadership and keep other segments stable underscores its resilience. With normalised weather patterns and continued market strength, Voltas remains well-positioned to recover momentum in the upcoming quarters.
