Tata Motors sold 73,178 units in domestic and international markets in August 2025, slightly higher than 71,693 units in August 2024.

Commercial Vehicles (CV)

  • Total CV Sales: 29,863 units, up 10% YoY
  • Domestic CV Sales: 27,481 units, up 6% YoY
  • Key Segments:
    • HCV Trucks: 7,451 units (+5%)
    • ILMCV Trucks: 5,711 units (+15%)
    • Passenger Carriers: 3,577 units (+5%)
    • SCV Cargo & Pickup: 10,742 units (+4%)
  • International CV Sales: 2,382 units, up 77% YoY
  • MH&ICV Sales (Domestic + International): 14,667 units vs. 12,708 last year

Passenger Vehicles (PV)

  • Total PV Sales: 43,315 units, down 3% YoY
  • Domestic PV Sales (includes EVs): 41,001 units, down 7% YoY
  • International PV Sales: 2,314 units, a big jump from 344 units (+573% YoY)
  • EV Sales (Domestic + International): 8,540 units, up 44% YoY, marking the highest-ever monthly EV sales
