Shares of Suba Hotels opened at ₹154.20 on October 7, marking a 38.92% premium over the IPO price of ₹111. The listing premium exceeded grey market expectations, signaling strong market confidence in the company’s prospects.

About Suba Hotels IPO

The hospitality firm, Suba Hotels IPO had raised ₹75.47 crore via a fresh issue of 67.99 lakh shares, priced between ₹105–111 per share. Investors could subscribe to a minimum of 1,200 shares, requiring an investment of ₹1,33,200 at the upper price band.

The SME IPO received over 15 times subscription during the three-day public bidding period from September 29 to October 1. Proceeds from the IPO are intended for hotel upgradation and general corporate purposes.

Company Background

Founded in 1994, Suba Hotels operates 129 properties across 72 cities in India. The journey began with Suba Guest House, a small 10-room establishment managed by Mr. Abubaker Mehta.

Later renamed Hotel Suba Palace, this modest start laid the foundation for a nationwide hospitality chain known for elegance and superior service.
