SRG Housing Finance has announced that its Borrowing Committee will convene a meeting on October 9, 2025, to consider and approve the issue of Non-Convertible Debentures (NCDs) on a private placement basis. The proposal may involve issuing the instruments in one or multiple tranches, depending on the committee’s final decision.
The company’s Board of Directors had earlier granted approval on August 1, 2025, to raise funds through the issuance of NCDs. The board also authorised the Borrowing Committee to finalise and implement the specific terms of the issue, including size, pricing, and tenure.
In its filing to the stock exchanges, SRG Housing Finance stated that the upcoming committee meeting will determine the detailed structure of the NCD issuance. The company confirmed that the disclosure was made in compliance with Regulations 30 and 50(1) of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
As part of the standard compliance process, SRG Housing Finance also informed the exchanges that its trading window will remain closed from October 1, 2025, and will reopen 48 hours after the declaration of its Q2 FY26 financial results.
Founded in 1999 and headquartered in Udaipur, Rajasthan, SRG Housing Finance Limited is a housing finance company catering primarily to individuals in the lower and middle-income segments. The firm focuses on Tier II and Tier III cities, offering affordable housing loans to self-employed individuals, small business owners, and salaried customers.
The company was listed on the BSE in August 2013 and operates under the Housing Finance category. Over the years, SRG Housing Finance has built a diversified loan book and continues to enhance its funding sources through instruments such as NCDs and term loans from financial institutions.
By expanding its capital base through debt instruments, SRG aims to support its growing lending portfolio and maintain liquidity for its operational requirements.
Following the announcement, SRG Housing Finance share price was trading 1.10% lower at ₹300.15 as of 12:52 PM IST on October 7, 2025. The stock opened at ₹310 and touched an intraday high of ₹316.95 before easing to ₹300.15.
The company currently commands a market capitalisation of approximately ₹470 crore and trades at a price-to-earnings (P/E) ratio of 17.29, reflecting moderate valuation levels. Over the past 52 weeks, the stock has traded between ₹272.35 and ₹414 on the exchanges.
