New Orders & Global Expansion
- North America: Won a major ₹1,550 crore order to supply differential assemblies for a new electric passenger vehicle platform, with production to begin in Q3 FY28.
- India: Secured ₹260 crore order for drive motors for an electric 3-wheeler, production starts in Q4 FY26.
- China JV: Signed an agreement with Jinnaite Machinery Co. to form a JV for driveline systems. Sona Comstar will invest $12 million. Operations to begin H2 FY26.
- Railway Division: Completed acquisition of Escorts Kubota’s Railway Equipment Division on June 1, 2025, which is now fully integrated.
Electrification Update
Sona Comstar added two new EV programs in Q1, bringing the total to 60 EV projects with 32 different customers.
