Patel Retail IPO opened for subscription on Aug 19, 2025, and closed on Aug 21, 2025.
It was a book build issue of ₹242.76 crores. The issue was a combination of fresh issue of 0.85 crore shares aggregating to ₹217.21 crores and offer for sale of 0.10 crore shares aggregating to ₹25.55 crores. The Patel Retail IPO price band was set at ₹255 per share.
The Patel Retail IPO was subscribed 95.69 times overall, with retail investors bidding 42.55 times, QIBs 272.14 times, and NIIs 108.11 times by Aug 21, 2025 (Day 3).
The share allotment was finalised on Aug 22, 2025, and the shares were listed on BSE and NSE on Tuesday, Aug 26, 2025.
On the listing day, on the NSE, Patel Retail share price (NSE: PATELRMART) opened at ₹300.00, up from its issue price of ₹255.00. At 10:08 AM, the share price was trading at ₹290.25, up by 14.12% from its issue price and down by 3.25% from its opening price. As of the same time, the stock touched its day’s high at ₹305.00. The company’s market cap was ₹969.28 crore.
On the BSE, at 10:07 AM, Patel Retail share price was trading at ₹290.10, down by 4.89% from its opening price of ₹305.00 and 13.76% up from its issue price of ₹255.00.
Established in 2008, Patel Retail Limited is a supermarket chain mainly serving tier-III cities and nearby suburban regions, offering food, FMCG, general merchandise, and apparel.
The company launched its first store under the brand name “Patel’s R Mart” in Ambernath, Maharashtra. As of May 31, 2025, it operated 43 stores across suburban regions of Thane and Raigad districts, covering a total retail space of about 1,78,946 sq. ft.

The Patel Retail IPO witnessed investor demand with oversubscription across categories and made a positive debut on both NSE and BSE, listing at a premium over its issue price.
