On Aug 21, 2025, Ola Electric shares fell as much as 7%, reaching a day low of ₹49.48 at 11:00 AM, after opening at ₹54.00 on BSE. The fall in Ola Electric shares broke the two days gaining streak following the VAHAN registration data

According to VAHAN registration data as of August 20, 2025, Ola Electric registered 9,522 vehicles, trailing behind Ather Energy, which reported 10,248 registrations for the month.

On Aug 20, Ola Electric shares gained nearly 20% after a 9% jump on Tuesday, Aug 19, marking a cumulative rally of 29% over two sessions. With these gains, the stock reached its highest level in nearly 3 months and posted advances in four of the past five trading sessions.

On August 20, the stock saw record-breaking trading activity, with volumes surpassing 111 crore shares. However, delivery volumes were relatively low at 19 crore shares, making up only 17% of total trades—the lowest delivery ratio recorded in four months, suggesting high speculative interest.

Ola Electric Q1 FY26 Earnings

Ola Electric's Q1 FY26 earnings painted a mixed picture. While performance declined year-over-year, the company showed improvement on a quarter-on-quarter basis:

  • Net losses narrowed, and
  • Revenue saw sequential growth.

Gross margin stood at 26% for the June quarter, marking a 1,100 basis point increase QoQ and a 740 bps improvement YoY. Management has guided for gross margins to rise further to 35–40% for the full fiscal year.

On the outlook front, Ola projects FY26 revenue growth in the -7% to +4% range, signaling a cautious approach amid market headwinds. Notably, the company expects. its automotive division to turn EBITDA positive starting Q2, with full-year auto EBITDA exceeding 5%.
