NSE’s International Financial Services Centre at GIFT City will allow daily expiry of Nifty 50 options starting October 13, 2025. This marks the introduction of 0DTE or same-day expiry options on all trading days, offering increased flexibility for global investors.
NSE IFSC Ltd. has announced that from October 13, 2025, traders can participate in daily Nifty 50 options trades under the 0DTE framework. This feature will offer contracts expiring at 3:30 PM on each trading day.
After market close, new contracts will be automatically made available, ensuring the presence of 5 serial weekly contracts at all times. The move aims to provide greater efficiency and precision in risk management and trading strategy for global investors.
The exchange has also detailed that in cases where a 0DTE contract’s expiry coincides with an existing weekly or monthly contract, no parallel contract will be generated. Instead, the existing contract will function as the 0DTE option. The objective is to avoid duplication and maintain operational clarity for traders. Settlement mechanisms and additional operational instructions will be communicated separately by NSE IFSC Clearing Corporation.

Currently, domestic NSE options contracts on Nifty and other indices expire weekly and monthly, with expiry set for every Tuesday. With the GIFT City IFSC exchange introducing daily expiry through 0DTE contracts, it broadens accessibility and diversification opportunities for both non-resident and resident Indians under the SEZ regulations applicable at GIFT City.
With NSE IFSC’s implementation of 0DTE Nifty options contracts from October 13, 2025, daily expiry trading will become a reality for global investors. Through increased flexibility and continuous availability of 5 weekly contracts, the exchange is stepping forward to align with international trading standards within the framework of GIFT City.
