As of March 2025, the index had a dividend yield of 4.1%, a price-to-earnings (P/E) ratio of 31.66, and a price-to-book (P/B) ratio of 0.72. Financial services hold the largest sector weight at 25.24%, followed by capital goods (10.59%), healthcare (10.10%), and chemicals (8.15%). Information technology and construction sectors also have notable representation in the index.
The top constituents by index weight include MCX with a 3.78% share, Laurus Labs at 3.30%, and CDSL at 2.54%. Other significant players are Delhivery (2.12%), Radico Khaitan (2.06%), Crompton Greaves (2.00%), and Karur Vysya Bank (2.00%). These companies play a vital role in driving index performance due to their market influence.

The index has posted a 30.18% return over the past year. However, short-term performance has been weak, with YTD returns at -3.96%. Over a 5-year period, the index has delivered a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 15.66%.
