
Newgen Software Technologies share price (NSE: NEWGEN) soared 11.37% to ₹998.25 after the company reported a 16.2% year-on-year rise in consolidated net profit to ₹81.7 crore for Q2 FY26. Revenue from operations grew 11% to ₹400.8 crore compared to the same quarter last year.
Profit before tax (PBT) increased 13.78% to ₹105.33 crore. The company’s EBITDA rose 23.4% to ₹102.4 crore from ₹83 crore in Q2 FY25, with EBITDA margin improving to 25.5% from 23%.
During the quarter, subscription revenue climbed 20% YoY to ₹126 crore, showing continued customer retention and recurring income strength. Revenue from product and license sales stood at ₹74 crore.
On a half-yearly basis, Newgen reported an 11.5% jump in consolidated net profit to ₹1,314.63 crore on a 6.74% increase in revenue to ₹7,214.49 crore in H1 FY26 over H1 FY25.
Chairman and Managing Director Diwakar Nigam said the quarter showed strong growth momentum, with 15 new client additions across regions. He noted significant traction in new markets and breakthrough deals in mature ones, setting the stage for further expansion.
CEO Virender Jeet added that Newgen is deepening its footprint in the banking and insurance sectors. The company is developing advanced customer journey solutions and expanding into policy administration systems (PAS) to target larger deals. He also highlighted Newgen’s commitment to strengthening its AI-first product strategy.
