Mangal Electrical IPO received strong demand, with overall subscription at 9.95 times by August 22, 2025 (Day 3). The retail portion was subscribed 5.09 times, QIBs (excluding anchor) 11.09 times, and the NII category 19.78 times.
The share allotment was finalised on Aug 25, 2025, and the shares were listed on BSE and NSE on Thursday, Aug 28, 2025.
On the listing day, on the NSE, Mangal Electrical share price (NSE: MEIL) opened at ₹556.00, down from its issue price of ₹561.00. At 10:33 AM, the share price was trading at ₹562.25, up by 1.12% from its issue price and up by 0.21% from its opening price. As of the same time, the stock touched its day’s high at ₹566.00. The company’s market cap was ₹1,554.06 crore.
On the BSE, at 10:39 AM, Mangal Electrical share price was trading at ₹559.05, up by 4.89% from its opening price of ₹0.19% and 0.35% down from its issue price of ₹561.00.
Established in 2008, Mangal Electrical Limited is a supermarket chain mainly serving tier-III cities and nearby suburban regions, offering food, FMCG, general merchandise, and apparel.
The company launched its first store under the brand name “Patel’s R Mart” in Ambernath, Maharashtra. As of May 31, 2025, it operated 43 stores across suburban regions of Thane and Raigad districts, covering a total retail space of about 1,78,946 sq. ft.
