Lakshya Powertech Ltd, listed on the NSE, saw its shares surge 7.7% on Friday, reaching an intraday high of ₹129.9 per share. By 1:16 PM, the stock was trading at ₹134, up 3.16%. In comparison, Oil India shares rose 0.3% to ₹395.7, while the Nifty increased 0.47% to 25,122.20. The company has a market capitalisation of ₹135.12 crore, with a 52-week high of ₹376.95 and a low of ₹125.
The buying interest came after Lakshya Powertech received a significant work order worth ₹48.63 crore from Oil India. The order involves providing CNG services, including transportation to consumption centres and decanting to Oil India’s pipeline under a BOO (Build, Own, Operate) model. The company is expected to complete this project over the next seven years.
In August, Lakshya Powertech had also secured a ₹4.69 crore order from Powerica to supply and install HSD systems, safety equipment, and manage DG sets, which is expected to be completed within three months.
Lakshya Powertech is an energy solutions provider offering end-to-end, customised services for the oil and gas, power generation, and renewable energy sectors. Its solutions span both domestic and international markets.
The company specialises in engineering and process equipment, delivering precision-engineered pressure vessels, advanced heat exchangers, storage tanks, air receiver tanks, skids, structures, and intricate spool piping.
