In response to the government’s GST rationalisation, JSW MG Motor India has lowered ex-showroom prices on its ICE SUV portfolio. The revised rates, effective immediately, cover not only the vehicles but also spare parts and accessories, passing the full tax benefit on to buyers.
As per the news reports, the updated pricing structure makes MG’s SUVs more attractive in their respective segments. The Astor now starts at ₹9.65 lakh, below its 2021 launch price. The Hector is positioned at ₹14 lakh, while the Gloster begins at ₹39.80 lakh. Depending on the model, customers will save between ₹54,000 and ₹3.04 lakh.
Alongside the reduced base prices, MG Gloster buyers can access additional benefits of up to ₹3.5 lakh. Flexible financing, including 100% on-road funding and a 3-month EMI holiday, is also being offered to make ownership easier.
As per the news reports, Vinay Raina, Chief Commercial Officer of JSW MG Motor India, said: “The Government’s initiative to rationalise GST rates is a welcome step that directly supports car buyers by enhancing their purchasing power and fostering positive consumer sentiment. By passing on the full benefit of this reform to our customers, JSW MG Motor aims to make its SUV portfolio – comprising Astor, Hector, and Gloster – even more accessible and attractive.”
