IREDA share price will be in focus on Tuesday, October 14, as the PSU is set to release its financial results for the quarter ended September 30, 2025 (Q2 FY26). Ahead of the announcement, here’s a look at the company’s recent developments and performance trends.
IREDA reported a sharp rise in loan sanctions and disbursements during the first half of FY26. The company sanctioned loans worth ₹33,148 crore in April–September 2025, marking an 86% increase from ₹17,860 crore in the same period last year.
Loan disbursements also saw a 54% jump to ₹15,043 crore. As of September 30, 2025, IREDA’s outstanding loan book stood at ₹84,445 crore (up 31% year-on-year). The PSU continues to play a key role in financing clean energy projects across India under the Ministry of New & Renewable Energy (MNRE).
In September 2025, IREDA raised ₹453 crore by issuing perpetual bonds with a 7.70% annual return. The issue received strong investor interest, drawing total bids of ₹1,343 crore (oversubscribed by 2.69 times). The funds will help strengthen the company’s Tier-I capital and support its growing renewable energy financing portfolio.
IREDA has set an ambitious goal to achieve over 21% growth in operational revenue for FY26, targeting ₹8,200 crore compared to ₹6,743 crore in the previous fiscal. The company signed a performance-based MoU with MNRE outlining targets such as return on capital employed, asset turnover, and NPA ratios.
Earlier this year, IREDA successfully raised ₹2,005.9 crore through a Qualified Institutional Placement (QIP) in June 2025. Major investors, including LIC, participated in the issue, signaling strong institutional trust in IREDA’s business model and India’s renewable energy potential.
In the June 2025 quarter, IREDA reported a 36% decline in net profit to ₹247 crore due to higher expenses. However, revenue from operations rose to ₹1,947 crore from ₹1,510 crore a year ago. The company’s net worth improved to ₹12,042 crore, while the loan book reached ₹79,941 crore.
Despite operational growth, IREDA share price has declined over 32% year-to-date. The stock has fallen around 1.5% in the past month and 1.35% in the last five sessions.
